Framed shower doors are a little more cost efficient but also require more maintenance as they build up soap scum easier with that being said they are a great addition to rental properties as well as kids bathrooms because they don’t have any exposed glass corners which makes them safer although one of the major down sides is there are fewer glass options as they vary per shower series
frameless shower doors are a beautiful upgrade for any bathroom with a more sleek and modern look to them which makes them perfect for bathroom remodels there’s also tons of options for glass, All Cities Glass & Glazing has 2 lines of glass for you to choose and all our showers come standard with Enduro shield from see below for more information
Semi-framed doors shower doors have a frame around the whole door but not the actual glass its self this is a great option for those who want a compromise between framed and frameless since its still cheaper than a frameless but has a little more of a modern look to it but again there’s the downside of not having as many glass options
Here at all cities we have two lines of shower glass you can choose from our standard line includes Starphire glass and clear glass in 1/2″ and 3/8″ and we have a specialty line that’s a little more costly and includes bronze glass, gray glass, acid etched glass and Rain glass all in either 3/8″ or 1/2″ see down below or stop by our showroom for examples

If left unprotected, even the highest-quality glass can become dull and hazy after years of heat and humidity in a shower enclosure but by using Clarvista® you can protect your glass from becoming dull. unlike spray on coatings Clarvista® is baked onto the glass during manufacring so it creates a seal that acts like a barrier to protect the clarity and beauty of your shower enclosure
available on Clear, Starphire and acid etched
